members for their kindness and assistance in her time of need!
SPECIALTIES WPDC has two specialties a year. One in the spring and one in the summer. The spring specialty is held on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend at the New Castles shows (located on the fairgrounds). The summer specialty is held at the Canfield, OH Steel Cluster on the first Sunday in August. Mahoning-Shenango Kennel Club, Inc. FIELD TRIALS WPDC will not be having the annual Field Trial weekend this year due do to the DCA Nationals occurring during the same time period. The WPDC Field Trials will return in October 2010.
The Western Pennsylvania Dachshund Club is a not-for-profit membership organization of dachshund fanciers. The Western Pennsylvania Dachshund Club is proud of their wide sponsorship of a full range of purebred dachshund activities. Some of which include specialties held yearly in conjunction with the New Castle Shows as our Spring Specialty and the Mahoning-Shenango Kennel Club, Inc. at Canfield, Ohio (Steel Valley Cluster), and yearly Field Trials.
The Western Pennsylvania Dachshund Club is licensed
by the American Kennel Club. Our parent
club is the Dachshund Club of
America.
